Initiator and owner of Villa Boulevard.com VillaBoulevard was initiated by Janneke Nijenhuis (The Netherlands) in 2006. After a career of 17 years in the international hospitality industry, holding a position of Commercial Director for two international hotelchains she decided to start the company VillaBoulevard.com. Being an owner of a rental property in the south of France we gained a lot of experience with the internet rental business. Our property was listed on numerous websites but for each website we had comments on either the functionality of the website or the high membership fees. The idea for VillaBoulevard.com grew over the year and in September 2006 it was decided to start building our own website with the intention of creating a rental platform with great functionality for both the site visitor as well as the property owner with a reasonable membership listing fee. After the creation process of over 6 months the website was officially launched in june 2007!
